I have been a fan of Boston Whaler since 1963 when I moved to a canal off of Biscayne Bay, Miami.  Since then I have owned an early 16' Nauset in 1981, a 13' Super Sport in 1999 and the 1966 Sakonnet shown here purchased in 2002.

As a constant woodworker I felt the need to replace the rough woodwork that was installed on my Sakonnet.  As an architect I was able to gather sufficient information, primarily sourced through "continuouswave.com", to put together the fairly comprehensive set of 3D drawings for this purpose.  At some point it became clear that others would appreciate the information as well.  I hope you agree and enjoy them as so many others have.  Whaler.com has also become a valuable resource.

The Sakonnet, named "Ol Blue", was displayed in the 2003 Mt. Dora Antique Boat Show and later a photo of it appeared on the back cover of the 2005 Boston Whaler Catalog.
